Ploumis Taverna

Next to the sea in the area of Skala Rachoni, our fish taverna for 28 years has offered exceptional service and warm hospitality to many visitors of Thassos island.

With the view of the most magical sunset on the island next to the blue sea and the clean beach, with tall pine trees as a "roof", you can enjoy great meals and special snacks that we make ourselves. With traditional home recipes that the experience of all these years taught us. Some of the characteristics and ingredients of our recipes are unique, like the biological ultra virgin olive oil that we produce, the pure ingredients and the baking of our foods in a traditional oven with wood. The pure and tasty tsipouro of our family's production and also the wine constitute basic values as the years went by. The good service and the politeness of everybody that work here and also the cleanliness make sure that our visitors will have a wonderful time. Children can play care-free in a playground that we constructed.

The shallow and warm sea with the wooden pier right in front of our taverna are enjoyable and fun for people of all ages. We can also give you sunbeds and umbrellas for the beach.

Access to our place is easy and it can be done in two ways. Either with a car from the road (500 meters from the ring road of the island) or from the sea for those who have a boat or prefer to walk on the beach. There is also a big area for free parking.

We also take menu orders "to go" and we also take on the organizing of social events.
