Welcome to our holiday villas and apartments located on the sunny south side of Thassos!

Our story began in 2012 when we built Scandia Villas as real homes for permanent living. We designed them to ensure the spaces and facilities would provide a comfortable stay for our guests where they can feel at home. We feel we made the right choice because so many of our happy guests keep returning year after year.

All of our maisonettes and apartments are air conditioned, fully equipped, spacious and practical. We promise you’ll have a comfortable and easy stay with us.

Our maisonettes (69 m²) have 2 floors. Upstairs consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. Downstairs has one large space consisting of the living room with a sofa bed, a dining area with table and chairs, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a toilet with a wash basin. There is a spacious veranda on every floor where you can sit and relax outside. Each maisonette can accommodate up to 6 people and they are perfect for large families.

Our apartments (49 m²) are on the semi-ground floor located at the base of the maisonettes. They are spacious and airy, consisting of one bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a dining area with table and chairs, a fully-equipped kitchen, and one bathroom with a shower. Each apartment can accommodate up to 5 people. They naturally stay cool during the summer which is why many of our returning guests prefer our apartments.

Stepping outside you will find our beautiful garden with an abundance of fruit trees that continuously produce during most of the summer months. We invite you to hand-pick and enjoy our fresh fruit when ever there is some available! You may also use the barbecue and enjoy your meals underneath a starry night sky. Plus we offer a fenced parking area for you to safely and conveniently park your car.

Scandia Villas is located in a peaceful location away from the centre of Potos. Reaching the centre only takes a few minutes on foot. There you can find a wide range of shops, taverns, restaurants, cafes, beach bars, and much more. We highly recommend taking a stroll along the waterfront late in the evening, when Potos starts to really come to life!

During the day you can enjoy two amazing organised beaches that are only a short walk away. If you have a car, you may easily explore many more of the wonderful beaches, attractions, and excursions around Thassos. We’ll be happy to give you special recommendations based on your interests!

As you may have noticed in our name, “Scandia” is a short way of saying “Scandinavia”, which is where we, the owners, have been living for many years… in Sweden! We speak English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Greek.
